We often hear about women freezing their eggs to preserve their fertility so that when they are ready to have kids they can use the eggs from when they were in their 20s.
It seems that perhaps we should also be talking to men about this same concept. We are as a society delaying childbearing so it isn’t unusual for a man to father his first child over the age of 40. The average paternal age in 2011 is now 33.
