No two fertility patients are the same, which means that all fertility care should be personalized to each one’s individual needs. I know this idea can sound expensive and daunting for both the patient and the doctor.
It’s a method I’ve been using for years that focuses on diagnosis before treatment
That’s why I’m so excited to introduce a new standard of fertility care that makes personalized fertility medicine easy and more affordable.
It’s a new first step for every fertility patient that will ensure you are taking the right path and will experience the highest likelihood for a healthy pregnancy and baby.
It’s a method that I’ve been using for years with patients. I call it the TUSHY method and it focuses on diagnosis before treatment.
What is the TUSHY Method?
“T” in TUSHY stands for tubes (the fallopian tubes)
“U” in TUSHY stands for ultrasound of uterus.
“S” in TUSHY stands for semen analysis.
“H” in TUSHY stands for hormone testing.
“Y” in TUSHY stands for your genetic profile.
My hope is that this mnemonic will assist all health care providers to remember the basic fertility screening tests to offer patients who they refer to Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Physicians.
I predict that when providers remember the basic steps needed to screen for common conditions like poor sperm quality and blocked tubes, health care costs spent on treatments without diagnosis will decrease.
I have seen first hand that when I use this method my patients’ satisfaction with their care increases, and the time it takes for them to get pregnant and carry a successful pregnancy decreases.
I’m proud to use the “TUSHY” method to help patients understand the elements of the basic fertility work-up.
I’ll be starting a social media campaign to empower other physicians as well with this knowledge.
If you’re reading this and you find it works for you, I’d love to hear from you!
Thank you,
Dr. Aimee
